Hello! My name is Diana Jade and I am a cross-stitcher, knitter, crocheter, reader, and all-around crafts-lover.
My current passion is cross-stitch, but I always have socks on the needles too!
I love attending retreats — but I always have to travel to them, since there hasn’t been one in the Ottawa area… until now!
That’s why I’ve organized The Gathering Thread Retreat — with the help of friends and fellow makers — to bring a community of creatives together right here at home.
The 2025 retreat was the first event of its kind in Ottawa, and is going to be be an annual tradition. Each year, we’ll learn and grow together.
